SNAP also benefits people who are temporarily unemployed as well. Some people with disabilities work and some don’t. Those who do may be medically limited in the type of job they do and or the number of hours they are medically allowed to work per week. Withholding SNAP benefits from Americans is morally repugnant and I would say most people who get them need them. Fraud in this program is likely very rare.
It's time for a serious, full, and investigative AUDIT of funds that were already appropriated by congress. Where and how are monies being moved, spent, hidden, or lost? None of this is even legal, yet this nightmare continuew unabated. While Republicans in congress have no spine, Democrats have no spine either. We should be demanding non-stop until this madness is brought under control. This madness must stop now.
