He stated that Taiwan is important, as it manufactures many of our advanced computer chips, but of course Trump is not treating Taiwan as important, so he then needed to declare that Trump is handling Taiwan well by his "peace through strength" approach while disparaging Democrats. At no point was it mentioned that the U.S. no longer has a battle group in the area.
