When someone mentions the name Bob, I immediately think of the poem Bob by Jonah Winters. https://poetryschool.com/theblog/bob/

Hope Pope Bob follows Pope Francis' example. Seems like he will.

Thanks for sharing this! This really captures the essence of "Bob": "Quiet, polite, succinct, Bob/opens doors for people, is reticent in grocery stores."

Did Bob shop at da Jewels for years on da corner? As long as Bob doesn't root for the evil team up North, Chicagoans will claim him. We don't know a Leo. Leo is the guy who died after the Titanic hit an iceberg.

We do know a Leo - Leo Catholic High School on the South Side, my step dad’s Alma mater

^^Ah. I think Titanic gave the name 1 or 2 kids named Leo. In general? The name Bob/Robert/Rob/Bobby is more popular. There are a few Bobs in their 40s and 30s or younger. Leo was the one born after Romeo and Juliet/The Titanic. He was not named after a grandfather. Robert is the name 3 generations+ name their kid.

Leo is the aristocrat....the Crawley family (if you watched Downton Abbey). Bob is the every day guy who helps with the car

There's a YouTube video of Bob (Pope Leo XIV) stressing the importance of critical thinking in one's life and teaching it to your children. Thinking critically will counter being fooled by social media, scams, and false ideas that can hurt one morally or financially.

How intellectually gratifying is it to listen to an admonition from the Pope to practice critical thinking. And...he's our Pope from South of Chicago.

Dear American Catholics:

No Catholic is as powerful as the Pope. He’s only 69. Get over yourselves.
