The best scientists and doctors at the HHS departments have been fired and without these people overseeing the day to day operations and activities of the laboratories they are responsible for is immensely crippling. With no security clearance to be able to access medically and scientifically classified data and documents they are essentially dead in the water.
The actions of Donald Trump and his HHS secretary are criminal. These actions should be investigated by both houses of Congress. We should Demand this from our legislative branch.

Given Kennedy and the Trump Administrations plans to ignore bird flu, it isn't "if" human-to-human transmission develops, but when. Clearly "when" won't be known since they've undermined the detection procedures. They didn't learn from the Covid experience that this strategy doesn't work and that absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
This development doesn't merely show that the Trump administration is "woefully unprepared" to deal with a bird flu epidemic. It shows that they have absolutely no intention of dealing with a bird flu epidemic, and have made sure that they won't be able to. (When and if it occurs, no doubt they will blame it on the Biden administration!)
Does RFK Jr. think he and his are beyond getting an infectious disease? Does he want to die of cancer? I don't get it. The old fart in the WH is as vulnerable to all the diseases as anyone. Does he really believe he's above it too?

It seems that HHS’ decision to ignore a potential bird pandemic is in line with the overall Republican health plan of ‘Were All Going to Die.’
RFK does not believe in germ theory. He believes that ‘healthy living’ will keep you safe from infectious diseases. Than man knows nothing.

On the few human cases of bird flu in humans, the death rate is similar to the black death - 30 to 60% of people die!
