How many creatures can express joy by doing nothing but their normal day-to-day routine? Thank you, Viv. Next up: stranger danger talk.
Hey, I discovered a new level of joy this week when a friend told me about Sniff Spot. It's a subscription service to private dog parks on private property--described as an AirBNB for dogs. I'm not comfy with unfenced off-leash parks or the gross mess everywhere in most public dog parks. Regular folk host secured areas that you can rent by the hour--some are just in people's backyards, for small dogs. But this changed everything for my lovely Irish setter who spends too much time on a leash. She and her "brother" poodle have already had two romps on 2 acres doing whatever they liked this week. Nothing makes me feel better than seeing my dogs as happy as Viv.
Oh MY, what a pretty girl!
