Awww, Rex is a cutie-pie and I love his bio! He and I share a love of chocolate bars! 😋 Thanks, Azza and Kathleen, for introducing His Adorableness to us!
Old dogs are treasures. They are walking compilations of love and experience, always gaining and never losing knowledge. That's kind of rough on moms sometimes, isn't it, Rex? But every day you write the book.
Even an adorable dog whose name means king should not have chocolate. Walks, kisses, toys and attention are all fine (and expected) in unlimited quantities so even Godiva shouldn’t be missed.
OK Rex, you cute little devil -- about that election thing you pulled...you have put into the highest office a dog-hating first class louse who fraternizes with those who plan to end gay marriage rights. Ah-woof?? I'm not kidding, dude. And your moms still have to work, right? Cuz dog food and treats don't grow on trees, and the snuggle fairy does not pay the rent or mortgage. Woo-woo-woo!! Yes, how could you have known? You really don't get out much, i guess. Here's what you do, little big man: while your moms work, you listen to Jen and Norm and the other fine folks on The Contrarian, and you get clear about which side of your bread has peanut butter, buddy. Then, in 2026 and 2028, you know what to do. We know you're a Force and you owe us, big time. Got it? WOOF !! Good, we're counting on you., you irresistible snuggle bug...
This is not a behavioral issue. I’m a PhD biochemist/molecular geneticist and dog lover. You can trust me on this. Just do a search on “chocolate and dogs”.
I'm a dog person well acquainted with the necessity of keeping dogs away from chocolate. I've also heard my neighbors' account of the chocolate their chihuahua ate, amazingly without any ill effect. My comment is non-PhD dog humor, as i feel certain Rex's owners know about chocolate and dogs.
LOVE the photo with Rex stretching his front legs on a blanket, and his beautiful, soulful face! So glad he and his moms found eachother!
Aww thanks Natalie!! We are so glad too 💕

ahahah Rex says you’re welcome! He got some watermelon today so it was a good day
Yummy! Way back in grade school, we had a Puli (Hungarian sheepdog) who loved watermelon. And beer!

That’s exactly right!! Old dogs are wise and snarky in the best ways.
This is one smart, cute dog ! Would he consider running in the midterms ??

I love your eyes Rex!
There’s no way someone that cute engineered the hell we’ve been going through

Adorable!
Who's a good boy, Rex? 🐶🍫
You do know that chocolate is poisonous to dogs, don’t you?
Chihuahuas refuse to acknowledge rules of any kind.

Is this a pet rescue?
I'm pretty sure that [the adorable] Rex is too modest to take credit for rescuing his mamas.
