There are rumors that Pope Francis is going to issue an encyclical that dogs have souls, and that dogs will henceforth be welcome in church. I suspect that if Pope Francis really does that, other religions will quickly follow.
I have always known that dogs have souls, and if I am fortunate enough to go to Heaven, I am counting on seeing all the wonderful dogs I have had during my lifetime. I can't wait to hug every one of them again. :-)
