Instead, Trump was treated with kid-gloves and actually allowed to continue campaigning for President. This is a staggering breakdown of responsibility by the judicial system.

A great interview, very revealing. I have always admired and respected Senator Mark Warner for his mild manner and genial nature, as well as his keen understanding of what is right. In today's interview I was struck by how perplexed he seemed by the Republicans refusing to do what is right for the country. With his genial, polite, but fixed smile, he basically admitted that he was forbidden to do intelligence oversight. Where is his anger? Does he expect Republicans to support him? What is Laura Loomer's power, and over whom, that a tweet could result in the military establishment refusing to meet with him, as the Constitution requires. Did he just step away? And not say or do anything? His interview was very revealing, but also extremely frustrating for me. I definitely sensed his frustration at his failure to perform oversight as usual, and that Republicans who know better, are still silent when it comes to Kennedy. But, I'm sorry -- of course this is not usual! If he does not push back, insist on showing up for his oversight visit, or doing something, who will? Why aren't more Democrats joining him to conduct intelligence oversight? It is more important now than ever, if they are refusing to meet with him.
RFK Jr is clearly a nut case. He has crackpot ideas that somehow appeal to Felon34, even when they contradict his own behavior during the pandemic. Of course Felon34 only acts on what he thinks is momentarily appealing to his base.
Incidentally, Nobel prizes are only given to the science researchers, not to their funding sources.
I really think that the Democrats should make the resignation of RFK Jr. a condition for supporting a continuing resolution on September 30. That and ending his absurd tariffs.
