So how do we get the message out better and more often to keep reminding working people of what we are losing?

Pat, that IS the question of the moment!

So many people are just trying to get through the day, get through the weeks, with enough food to eat, that ‘politics’ flys over their heads.

This condition gives Trump the vacuum of power, he and subsequently the 2025 gang, need to take over our country.

At the core of trumpism is misanthropy, which is reflected in the desire to eliminate Medicare and cause people to die. These trumpers even hate each other trump-musk, trump-rubio, etc. Trump collects the people he's squashed as future servants: Rubio, Vance, etc.

Please provide a transcript. The video doesn't even have close captioning. Readership will be low if both video and transcript are not provided. I suspect that's why there are so few comments.

A question. About the Tennessee Biden project that Biden/Democrats didn't get credit for.

Torres had a guest who worked in the Biden administration on facilitating local implementation of Biden policies/projects. Struck me as a smart and competent guy.

The Tennessee example (I think) criticizes the Biden administration because the Tennessee workers mistakenly gave credit to the Ford company rather than Biden.

I just think there is more to the story. If this Biden "guy" I mention failed to get the right message to the Tennessee workers, I suspect it's because of factors we don't know about. Maybe the bill passed with Republican support and a condition of that support was that Biden not get credit. Maybe the R representative in the Ford plant district made sure that Biden wasn't given credit. And so on and so on.

Because I think there were lots of very smart people in the Biden administration, I would dig deeper for an explanation of what looks on its face to be really poor politics and messaging.

Great interview.

Pretty discouraging story that Tennessee workers in the Ford Motor plant didn't know that a Biden policy was to thank for their job and increased wages.

In my opinion, healthcare as an animating , progressive issue for ALL workers is larger than the concerns over subsidized health care such as Medicaid and even Medicare. All workers, including college educated professional workers, are being crippled by the costs of health care insurance premiums and the anxiety of falling into a loophole of "out of network" care. Obama's signature health care reform was HUGELY important. But that was just a first baby step. Democrats seem to have dropped the ball - healthcare is still broken and needs a major fix.
