It is really a joke that Vance and other Republicans are distancing themselves from the felon. They own the mess they helped the felon to create. Their abandonment of congressional duty and their ridiculous extremism won’t get them anywhere in this election cycle. They are responsible for a flailing economy, high gas, high groceries, high rent and no healthcare. They want to turn America into a billionaire welfare state.
Imagine if all the Democratic Members of Congress showed up Friday morning at the Kennedy Center to stand with the crowds doing their best to stop Trump from demolishing the Kennedy Center! And perhaps Democratic candidates for office nearby could come, too. I wonder if any Congressional Republicans would be brave enough to show up.
I just called my Members of Congress to urge them to be there. You can call yours in DC, too.
