The new Comer committee looking into Newsom's and Bass's actions is a thigh slapper.

The Fascist party doesn't do anything unless they can libel and slander Democratic politicians. I hope they get the proper answers.

No fascist party looking into the treatment of Sen. Padilla. Figures.

Lisa Murkowski spoke out after videos circulated Thursday of Senator Alex Padilla being forcibly removed from a news conference held by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem in Los Angeles. Called the incident "shocking," "I've seen that one clip. It's horrible. It is shocking at every level. It's not the America I know," she said.

Where's Don Bacon? Roger Wicker? Where are Mike Turner? Jerry Moran? Mike Bost?

Please get them on the record.

BTW my colleague, Moe Davis has annouced his candidacy for the House from Ashville. https://moedavis.com/

Americans in France will be protesting in solidarity with all of you on the front lines in the US! In Paris we'll be at Bastille, arguably the most symbolic place in Europe for overthrowing tyranny. We'll feature the European debut of the "Felon Don" balloon, the original of which was at the ghastly inauguration: Trump as a chicken. The new rendition puts him behind bars.

We'll share photos that you'll receive just before the US protests begin, thanks to the time zone difference.

****BRAVO Indivisible for the INCREDIBLE work in organizing the No Kings protests, including through forging collaborations with so many partners worldwide. You're showing the way to build a new society!! And thank you THE CONTRARIAN for such great coverage.****

I appreciate and am consistently in agreement with the content of your articles, interviews, videos, cafféklatch discussions, podcasts etc etc. Thank you for the tremendous amount of thought, energy and work, here. Really, almost too high in quantity, if I may say so respectfully. But may I ask, would you consider featuring a cat or two (or for that matter, another type of animal) as your Pet of the Week? All I've seen are dogs, here. There are so many beautiful pets, of many varieties.

Two things gave me hope this week. One was Tacos failed China trade deal. And the Big one is Trump back peddling on deportations. He realized his policy is bound to fail. Now he is trying to spin it. We can keep the ones working in certain jobs. It's a start. WE have to keep the pressure up...they are starting to Crack.

I think Trump is extremely tired, but doesn't even realize it . . . so unreflective is he.

I’m beginning to think we don’t need street protests. We need honest, thoughtful alternative legislative programs about illegal aliens, temporary farm workers, entitlement fraud, and waste in government, and so forth.

As it is clear to all of us violence is the rational used by tyrants to attain and keep power. Putin planted bombs around Moscow which he blamed on Chechnya. Standing out in the street waiting for ICE to show up and pick a fight (what else do you think they’re going to do ?) is naive. It’s helping the wrong guys.
