Not sure how to do Pet of the Week: meet Thor(Old School). 25 year old rescued thoroughbred that I have had for 8 years. He was 250 pounds underweight when I rescued him. He actually sold for $200,000 when he was a yearling , won several races, and then his history went blank. He’s very sweet and affectionate but still thinks his running the Derby even at 25. He’s quirky and gallops, rears and bucks while playing in the pasty. I love Thor dearly and he has a home with me for the rest of his life❤️how do I send pictures?
Everything on this edition of The Contrarian is just fantastic including Norm’s summary of the saga in the Epstein files. Undaunted, the Ken Burns interview, food and pets just adds another layer of something for everyone. Well done Contrarians!
Let me pretend to be a member of the GOP "ruling class," talking to "the people" . . . the one's who are living paycheck-to-paycheck. If actions "speak" louder than words, here's what I am "saying" to you:
"This is not a democracy. It's a capitalist cabal complete with an ongoing party. This means that, if you are not wealthy (as a general standard) and don't have money to pay for doctors' care for yourself, your children, and your also-poor parents, you are a part of an expendable class. AND btw, some of your leaders are taking our bribes. Don't look to us, however, those of us in the ruling class, to pay for you to survive what you probably brought on yourself. Just die and leave us alone."
