Impeachment is a dead end misdirection of investigatory & prosecutorial resources. Federal & state investigations followed by state prosecutions in '27 & possible federal prosecutions in '29...

Nonsense. Impeachment is a political process, not a legal one. And the Federalist Society-corrupted SCOTUS would block ANY prosecution of Trump as long as he's in office.

Donald Trump MUST be impeached, full stop. If the Democrats take the House, only someone who is willing to make that a top priority should be speaker. No excuses like “there’s no point, it didn’t work in 2019 or 2021.” His crime in the phone call to Zelenskyy was too complicated for maga to comprehend, and the idea that he’d face justice after the January 6th insurrection gave the Republicants an out.

But so many of Trump’s new crimes in his second term are not just obvious, many have been committed or admitted live on TV, most recently, his total and illegal embrace of Putin and Russia over Ukraine and all of our allies. Of course, Trump regime toadies will obstruct any investigations, but NO investigations are required for impeachment. Just put a list of all the court orders Trump has ignored and roll the damn tapes, then vote.

Senate Republicans won’t vote to convict, you say? First, 2027 is not 2019 or 2021. The economy is in the toilet, and everyone, even many maga toadies, knows that Trump’s tariffs and Iran war are why, and it’s NOT going to be better next year, so more Republican senators might see the benefit of voting to convict. And, fingers crossed, with a 54-46 Democratic senate, fewer Republican votes would be required.

And second, Trump can’t run again, JD Vance has less charisma and likeability than a flat tire, and anyone in congress who votes against impeaching or convicting Trump this time – well, good luck getting that Trump stank off in 2028.

Implement a progressive VAT tax - they can dodge taxes but they buy stuff.
