The news that Defense Secretary Hegseth has summoned all of America's starred army and navy leaders to appear in person at Quantico next Tuesday for an agenda he has not disclosed is ominous. Quantico is a military base in which it would be possible to sequester our military leaders and cut them off from communication with the outside world. If this were done, just as the federal government closes down, it would open the opportunity for Putin to launch aerial attacks on our NATO allies, especially those that border Russia, at a time when our ability to come to their defense would be significantly hampered.
