Would someone tell JOE SCARBOROUGH that defensiveness is not the only tactic? Yes, republicans are lying: democrats do not want to fund health care for illegal immigrants--it's illegal anyway. But the lie is cover for the fact that the GOP does not want to fund, and NEVER WANTED to fund health care for ANY AND ALL Americans.
Also, this morning they showed a clip of Trump actually saying yesterday that the shutdown would enable the GOP to take away benefits--then Trump quickly corrected himself saying "we don't want that, but the democrats want us all to pay for health care for illegal immigrants. So, Trump switched from the GOP truth to Orwell double-speak and the lie that they use to cover for their desire to take away health care for everyone.
So, Joe just goes on the defensive denying that democrats want to cover illegals saying rightly that it's against the law anyway. But then he never went to the lie-covered fact that the GOP does not want to fund health care for ANYONE. Joe rightly asked for a bumper sticker. Here it is: THE GOP wants to gut Medicare and Medicaid for ALL AMERICANS. Joe does that often--he loses the main thread and goes on the defensive. Someone talk to the man.
I have seen suggestions the people in blue states should refuse to pay taxes. Given what Trump is doing, this is beginning to make sense to me. What do you think?
