Additionally, the paper's AI comments censorship continues to deepen. Two perfectly apt phrases I couldn't use in comments today: 'Trumpist insanity' and 'right-wing nutjobbery'.
Sigh. I still like the work of the remaining dig.stuff.up journalists. But the rest has become nothing but fishwrap and birdcage liner. And Dana Milbank's powerful voice is now going to be writing about nature.

Letting RFK, Jr or any other official get a pass for documentably false claims such as “We’re the sickest nation in the world” is epic failure of oversight. What if mayors of blue cities asked their blue state governors to deploy national guard to help them fight crime. They would then control the guard and could deploy them in non enforcement duties allowing their police to do more on the ground community policing. Besides helping as crime prevention funds are being cut, it also might cut the legs out from under Trumps threat to send in his troops.
