I got my cataracts taken care of. I am enjoying my crisp vision. It had gotten worse than I realized. Grateful for the gift of sight. I wish the orange man could appreciate the same! Happy new year to all you democracy supporters. We can do this.

OK, I am sharing this all around; please excuse any repetition, folks.
I just finished a demo of a new protest song for No Kings called "We Rise." I hope folks will be inspired to sing it at the next set of rallies, and anywhere our country is being protected from fascism or any form of the other -isms in our faces right now.

If Congress can change the definition of a day to any convenient length by using a simple majority vote, what's to stop them from extending the time in office for the President, members of Congress and the Federal budget? The "year" is never defined in the Constitution. It was just assumed to be a Gregorian year by common linguistic convention.
It is gratifying to be part of the support for this fine community. I’m personally looking forward to being part of it again in 2026.
