Once again, Trump is not managing the Govt…..he is only managing his authority. As such, he is not competently performing the job he was elected to do. It is indeed a flaw in the setup of our Govt that we are stuck with such incompetence for four years, and, cannot fire that Incompetent prior to the expiration of that four year period. He is increasingly damaging our country more and more every day. What a tragedy, and travesty!
We all willingly continue to play Russian Roulette with our democracy. We all know clearly where this is headed and what TACO Trump is trying to achieve and yet few (sadly, very few Democrats) can be seen standing tall and actually fighting to preserve democracy.
We dilly-dally with this or that fact, point fingers and light up our stogies while sitting on an open barrel of dynamite. We do not notice that our democracy has already been replaced with an autocratic Fascist state.
It's the entire country who should be doing something. It's Republicans, Independents and Democrats who should be doing something. Far too many Republicans are simply standing bye, looking to the next election to ensure their own power. This is Putin's Russian, Moodi's India, Erdogan's Turkey and Orban's Hungary, all authoritarians who won election and their people stood bye doing nothing.
It's the playbook of all authoritarians, blame the other for the loss of jobs, blame the other for the country's social issues and ensure "religious liberty" for the religion with the most followers in the authoritarian's country (Russia, Hungary and the US: Christianity, Turkey: Muslim and India: Hindi).
Democrats do nothing because they are powerless to do anything. They don't have majority control of the legislative branch. Too many Dems and Independents didn't get up off the couch. I guess they just didn't want to elect a smart capable woman. And now the Dems wait for November '26. We may all be dead by then.
It's up to us, the people. Obviously the sycophants' in the House and Senate are going to continue to sit on their hands and make things worse. We have to act now however and wherever we can.
I predict that some "smart" boys and girls (without a conscience) will start companies where applicants can "learn" how to apply for a TACO job. For a "small" fee the fool wanting to work for the TACO administration will learn which words and phrases to write in that "essay" and what to say in order to kiss the bottom of the backside of the one who'll be interviewing them. Don't forget, the kissing of the bottom of the backside starts low and ends in the White House if they are successful!!!
