Fascinating critique. If he accomplishes nothing else in his political career than to facilate the release of the Epstein files he will be fondly remembered by history.

That is an interesting way of looking at it. What will come after the comma in the first sentence of his obit.

After his current remake as Savior of Democracy, I couldn’t remember why I had a distasteful association with his name. Oh yeah, the Xmas card. Thanks for the reminder I guess?

Thank you for your perspective. I imagine you could write a similar piece about the occasional issues where Mitch McConnell has seemed sensible until he switched subjects.... To most any other subject.

Simple. I say use Massie for this and then disgard of him.

A bit like "real" repulsivecans do with none repulsivecans.

Thomas is a wonderful man.

I appreciate the stand Thomas Massie is making regarding the Epstein files. I, however, do not appreciate that he voted for the Save Act, which will disenfranchise 65 million married women, and many others. I feel ambivalent towards him.

I don't appreciate that vote either, or most of what he's about. That's kind of the point, though. To be able to take the win--and the ally--when your goals coincide and you're on the same side. Which in his case is rare, but obviously has happened on Epstein and Iran.

You are right. In this day and age, with very little across the aisle action in Congress, you have to take what you can get, I suppose. We definitely need all the support we can get. I do appreciate that Massie does not kowtow to Trump. I also appreciate what he has done regarding the Epstein files.
