I wholeheartedly understand that "...when folks may think that it ends with the Latino community, we are the canary in the coal mine." I understand because my aunts, uncles, grandfather, and half sister were "profiled" as Jews and were murdered in the ghetto. They were the canary, to be followed by homosexuals, Communists, gypsies, anyone who did not fit into the regime profile. Americans need to go to the polls in truly overwhelming numbers and replace this regime.

If we can only get people out to vote--yes, it is a job for citizens. I hope we have that choice and without the lawlessness of today's administration. Sad to hear how such a young boy could understand the ugliness shown by the mall security.

Just heartbreaking that an 11-year-old American citizen has to be afraid to speak his family's language in public. What have we become?

More folks who are Latino need to run for office although terrifying! I get it! We need folks that show the way that a party is responsive to those they represent.
