I would definitely not call these masked ICE thugs "officers." They do not act like even the most corrupt, but at least unmasked, officers. They are worse than Hitler's Gestapo ever was.

A long and complex discussion on a subject that should not be happening in America.

Why can’t state and local officials arrest ICE officers for breaking state laws? Start with the more egregious ones on film.

It’s Constitutional. It’s within States sovereign rights. It’s the duty of States. The violations are State law. Start modest to make an example of these law breakers. Do it in the most legal, and non-confrontational way. Don’t arrest them when they’re with their armed buds.

Hard to do without IDs and when only in groups.

Local law enforcement: pick the easy ones first. Some can be ID’ed. Some have been photographed when masks slip. Some are clearly breaking local/State law. Assault.

When I heard about the gang leader that supposedly put out a hit on a senior immigration officer I wondered why I felt so ambivalent towards something I would normally be horrified at. I think Charlie Kirk was a major a**hole but I was horrified that someone would murder him. In this case I think that the more I've heard about ICE's reprehensible actions the more it just seemed like one gang threatening another. ICE hides behind a dubious interpretation of their authority like they hide behind their masks.

Supposedly their mission was suppose to go after the "worst of the worst." Which they apparently interpret to mean anybody who presents as even remotely hispanic. I bet you thought taking Spanish in high school and maybe college was a good thing, eh? But I can't really blame them too much for this pathetic and evil interpretation of their so-called mission. If any of these brave warriors came face to face with actual bad guys they'd melt like ice cream on a very hot day, and the ICE dept. would likely be faced with a sudden epidemic of bone spurs...

Except I believe quite a few are mean fighters.

Why isn't ICE required to be trained in using least force? Are these agents subject to background checks? What kind of training do these people have? Who can check on this?

Tom Homan and his I.C.E. are to modern day America what Heinrich Mueller and his Gestapo were to Nazi Germany -- PERIOD.

ICE agents did not have judicial warrants to enter apartments during the September 30, 2025, raid of a Chicago apartment building. Why aren't the executing agents prosecuted and sanctioned? If it's illegal, where is the enforcement?

Similarly, members of the military have been executing illegal orders by murdering Venezuelans. Why are these military personnel not being prosecuted?

I realize that they are "just following orders," and that the order-givers are untouchable. But it would surely matter to underlings in these illegal operations that they risk personal ruin. If we published their names, that would at least complicate their employment three years from now. If nobody is taking these people to court, is anybody at least taking names (as Pritzker said he would)?
