We may be able to abolish ICE; however, ICE must be disarmed BEFORE any other actions take place. Moving a bad apple from one basket to another still leaves a bad apple.
I need help getting this point across. Disarm ICE and the highest risk is fully abated. ICE does not need to be armed. Who and how do you propose to do that? You have to have the VOTES in Congress. You do not yet have the votes. And what could you possibly mean by “Pull the Plug”? What plug? Schumer or whoever becomes Minority Leader must hold the Democrats together and find a few Republican votes. Cut the rhetoric and lobby the swing Republicans to support a compromise with the Democrats. Prepare to win the Majority in Nov 2026.

The regime is desperate because they KNOW how badly they are polling in ALL areas and by ALL AMERICANS. With the arrests of these two African American journalists, they are trying to ratchet up divisiveness. Good luck with that. Apparently they can't read the room. ALL the protests are a complete MIX of demographics -- people looking after their neighbors and communities, especially the brown and black ones. And because they are desperate, they are also trying to enact more and more of Project 2025 while they can still get away with it.
They have lost the narrative. that is clear. they are doing whatever they can to get it back. The lies they rely on don’t work when you see the truth with your own eyes. THAT’s why they want no one reporting or recording.
The question is whether the administration will be corrected on this by the legal system. Has it gotten so bad that as of now the administration IS the "legal system"??
By my association with The Contrarians, I too can be labeled as a journalist. So ICE/CBP, come and get me. I am right here in very red South Carolina. Home of Graham, Scott, and a boatload of Republicans. I would like nothing better than for them to see you arrest an octogenarian sitting at his computer and trying to make sense of the 40% who think Trump is the messiah.

The Department of Justice is investigating/charging the wrong people. It is their own taxpayer-paid government operatives who are murdering, destroying peace, democracy, and the Constitution. Name Alex's murderers. Charge them and Jonathan Ross, as they should be, as we would be had we done the same thing.
