He reminds me more of Ceausescu of Romania in his gilded grandiosity. If he winds up with same fate, I wouldn’t cry.

It would be "good TV", so how could Trump possibly complain about it!

How is it possible for House Republicans to sink any lower than to desecrate the Kennedy Center by renaming it after their dear leader? No worries. They'll keep trying to cheapen our legacy.

I think the time has come to counterbalance the self-glorifications of Donald J. Trump both in the public and private sectors. For example:

The Donald J. Trump Sewage Treatment Plant.

The Donald J. Trump Psychiatric Ward

The Donald J. Trump Septic Tank.

Once I was given this good advice: Do not name anything after a living person. For one thing, you will find out a lot more about the person after they die. In this case we know enough not to honor this dishonorable person.

The article is good.

Isn't the real point that renaming things after a living president, in my memory is unheard of?

“Mr. 2029 Democrat President? Tear down those Trump monuments!”

Oh no! We can not let this be our reality!

Just to be a bit pedantic, the word "memorial" means "Something, such as a monument or holiday, intended to celebrate or honor the memory of a person or an event. " or "Anything intended to preserve the memory of a person or event; something which serves to keep something else in remembrance; a monument." In usual English in this context, I believe, "memorials" preserve the memory of a deceased, not living, person. Isn't it a bit too soon to rename the Kennedy Center?

Perhaps they know something we don’t know and he is soon to die. One wonders if it is that or do they not understand the English language.

I have now read the whole article. Excellent ending use of “Ozymandias” again.
