I wanted to buy one, but by the time I went online they were sold out, which (as the former merchandise manager and buyer for the Smithsonian stores) indicates you should order more. You're missing out on sales. Happy to assist as a volunteer if you ever want merchandise help.
Hi Kathy! The website says our items are "sold out" because our window for purchase closed at 11:59 PM last night. Not to fret, though, as we will do another merch drop in the future with new items...though we anticipate the fan favorite mugs to make an appearance as well :)

I'm a subscriber in Australia and when I click the link to merchandise, it says everything is sold out but underneath it says "preorder"but there's no link to preorder so I'm somewhat confused. Please point me in the right direction as I certainly would like to purchase a contrarian T-shirt.
