This garbage bill is very unpopular among many Americans. I don’t want to see Medicaid obliterated. It’s like the congressman said to cut critical basic needs has a trickledown effect on everyone else. People that have healthcare insurance would be subsidizing those that don’t have it and would raise the costs for everyone. Food assistance getting cut would mean that those who rely on it would have to go to a food pantry or a soup kitchen to get a meal. This is not good for anyone having to worry where the next meal comes from. I hope it fails miserably with not enough votes to pass it.

Or turn to crime to meet their needs! It's not like that won't happen. Back the blue by feeding the poor.

Congressman Crow, don't you know that for the fascist party unborn children are more important than children who are already alive? Why? Because the unborn don't cost anything.

Also, hungry children are not open to learning, which helps the fascists to dumb down the entire population to their level.

I know this is all very sarcastic, but how else is one to understand the goals of the fascists?

The most telling point made by Mr. Crow is that so many in Congress seek only to keep their seats, not to serve the American people. This is a sad hijacking of the reputation of dedicated public servants, like Crow and my senators Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley. They work hard and still have to play by the perpetual-campaign rules needed to stay in office.

Reminds me of all the Christians-in-name-only who give entire religious denominations a bad rap. Let us remember that there are good elected officials out there, and it's our job to weed out the George Santoses and Mitch McConnells. Only you can prevent the corruption of Congress.

Yes, as a retiree who relies on Medicare I see how the cutting of Medicaid will adversely affect not just those people on Medicaid but the rest of us. And I have not yet heard how much the Medicaid cuts will cut Medicare due to some automatic built-in formula. Shame on the Republican Congress for backing such horrible plans. We need more people in Congress who do not go along with these and other cuts to necessary services.

Nicely articulated Rep. Crow. The first time I ever heard you speak was after the Jan. 6th Insurrection. Watching you relate your experience and hearing others talk about how you reacted was inspiring. I have paid attention to your appearances and comments since then and I have been even more impressed; you are a shining example of what we should expect of anyone in public service. Thank you for doing the hard work and making the tough decisions; understanding that a Congressman's job is to serve the people (not yourself); for living up to your oath; for acting in the best interests of Americans; and of course...your faithful service. You give us hope.

Outstanding conversation. Rep. Crow very impressive. And a terrific spokesperson for the opposition to the obscene HR1.
