Please offer transcriptions of videos. Even if flawed I just can't watch another video. I'm a reader. Best most of your people are. Please

Just under the video on the right it says transcript. I think if you click that it will show one

Me too! I simply won't watch a video. I want the information, and I don't want to wait for someone to speak it. I can read it faster.

I only started listening to podcasts when Trump returned to torment us into new modes of knowing! I much prefer reading.

This post started out promising, discussing Trump and Harvard. That topic was left hanging. It then drifted to DOD & Hegseth, with some very valid points about leadership and team work, both of which need a Secretary of Defense who deserves the title. All of sudden, we're on Belichik?!? Who cares about this?!? So, I'm still waiting as to what exactly is your opinion on Trump's problem with Harvard.

Ivy grad here. He first went after Columbia; obviously, he didn't get in. He didn't get into R1s, yet he kept applying, until it hit for Penn in his 3rd year. Now, his kid didn't get in to any of the R1s.

Trump has only two motivators: greed and revenge. In this case he can't actually pocket the billions he's trying to take from Harvard. (Can he?) The real reason must be revenge. Did he ever apply to Harvard and get rejected, or did any of his children? Penn is prevented from releasing Trump's Wharton records, evidently because of some private agreement with Trump; maybe he has a similar agreement with Harvard whereby they can't release any records of any application. Maybe this is a case of simple envy of Harvard, and retribution. Harvard is far above Wharton in prestige. All we know is that Trump's attacks on Harvard seem driven by something far beyond any rationale factor.

I heard somewhere recently that Baron was rejected by Harvard and that’s why Trump is going after it. Sorry I can’t remember the source

Love these video. So glad we have them to break up the full text. It is so helpful for those of us with failing eyes. But importantly to me is to see the faces of these wonderful people who are giving so much to explain, provide facts, analysis, insight on important issues. Thank you for the work you are all doing.

Thanks for listening!

I agree that he wants to be "invited" by Harvard. Additionally I would wager that either he and/or Barron Trump applied and were not accepted to matriculate there.

Never disappointed by Pablo Torre! So glad to have found him here. Thank you Contrarian.

I really loved this opportunity to hear from the two of you---and I enjoyed the combination of the insider take on politics from Dan and the off-beat sports color from Pablo. (I almost wrote "the off-color sports"). A good combination, as I said. I'll see if I can't find space in my busy post-reading day for some more of this. Thanks.

Video is a hot medium. I would much prefer to get this in print.

I would also REALLY appreciate transcripts! I can speed-read the many articles I find important, but there aren’t enough hours in the day for multiple videos.

Get the disfunction at the DOD and the risk to national security. But... is this disfunction possibly inducing gridlock which is preferable to a truly weaponized and effective DOD?
