In my opinion, Nancy was the most formidable House Speaker, ever. Especially when compared to the current brown nosing pipsqueak.

I only have two disagreements with Nancy:

1. her refusal to let the House vote on stock trades for members of Congress (with their attending insider knowledge and

2. her total dissing of AOC. Yes, AOC is young and progressive, but the Democratic party needs a lot more of AOC's kind, if it is to successfully reduce the average age of Democrats in Congress. Also, AOC seems to be made from the same material as Nancy. She may very well be a deserving successor to Nancy in the future - hopefully not too distant.

I agree. I grew up in the Ozarks. Left for CA in '69 to attend college where the citizens believed that education was important. (Community college was free and Cal State cost me $8 per quarter unit.) I followed Nancy's career and admired her ability to get things done. She was not perfect...but she was the best servant/leader that America has ever produced. I am thankful for everything that she has done to make America a better place for everyone - with no exceptions! Now I am retired and living in the Ouachita Mountains.

Nancy Pelosi saw dignity in all humans and worked tirelessly to bring them the equality and justice America promises. She stood up for those who were treated badly and cruelly by those who stand against justice and equality—and she did it with dignity and determination. For me, she, as a woman in a definite patriarchy, outshone the men around her and never got the recognition and respect that a man would have who performed so amazingly well.

Pelosi was successful because she was strategic in everything she did. There was always a method to her madness 🤔🧐

I have a picture of her standing and pointing down at trump in my office. I admire her so much, am grateful for everything she did for our country, and hope that there will be another POWERHOUSE PELOSI in our future.

Refreshing to hear from her chief of staff. Pelosi remains the best we have had.

Nancy Pelosi is brilliant and courageous. I'm certain that trump still has nightmares about her. I won't forget how she stood up to him in the oval office, and her deliberate shredding of trump's speech as he spoke to congress several years ago. I will miss her terribly.

What a lovely interview! Thank you, Jen and Terri, for sharing so many insights about leadership, the House, and how a person comes to be inspired to serve the people she represents. This was a beautiful sharing - much needed at this moment in time.
