DC first, please. I've been an advocate for DC statehood since the early 1970s, but I'm afraid it's just not likely to happen. Right now, my biggest fear is the current President and Republicans in Congress want to take more control over DC. I recall what Julius Hobsen said about why he didn't support home rule, which was on the table in Congress at the time. "Why should we accept half a loaf? And home rule can be taken back. Statehood cannot." Prophetic.
So, what are these voting machines that Tulsi Gabbard supposedly took tfrom PR to investigate Venezuelan interference in the last election? While wearing my "tinfoil hat" I am increasingly convinced that Maduro was nabbed so that - in exchange for his freedom - he will cop to having interfered in the 2020 election. Does this regime think, however, that nobody will notice that election fraud in Puerto Rico can't be relevant thing? Same as election interference from kindergartners (who also cannot vote for POTUS or Congress)?
