Thank you, Jennifer. Bottom line is the t regime was itching for such a horrific but predictable event to invoke the Insurrection Act.

I agree that this was not a one-off event. The regime's messaging to smear Renee Nicole Good as a "domestic terrorist" even before they viewed spectator/witness videos showed their hand. Let's rip off the band-aid of "presumed regularity" by DHS/ICE, and even the FBI investigation under Patel/Bondi. We the people saw the phone videos, including the one from the ICE murderer, Ross. No matter how much they gaslight the public, t2/3ds of Americans KNOW this was an injustifiable shooting. The other 1/3 are Maga cultists drunk on spiked Kool-Aid.

Domestic terrorist my foot. Ms. Goode was an American Citizen, a mother, and a White woman exercising her First Amendment rights. She had every right to be where she was; ICE was not. Leave Minneapolis and our other cities alone.

If it can happen to her it can happen to all of us. That’s what is so scary living in a police state. I would have loved to have thrown a rotten egg at JD Vance after his lies. Noem, Trump, Vance are all lying 🤥

The bad guys have tasted blood, and this will not be their last murder, with no apparent consequences.

Hurray for Common Cause for putting pressure on the state of Minnesota to investigate.

These illegal and warrantless murders, committed by the government that is supposed to serve us must be stopped. The lies that "excuse" this evil behavior will not cover up the horror that has befallen us.

Even in this small town, we are holding a rally tomorrow at the county courthouse in protest of these thugs. Ice needs to go, and Kristi Noem too.

In any other city, the shooter would be put on administrative leave during an investigation of the facts and then most likely prosecuted. This is a major example of the total lack of morals and ethics that the Trump administration practices/violates every day.

Since the shooter is an ICE thug, neither the city nor the state have any jurisdiction over him. And Nazi Noem, Naazi Miller and the orange convicted felon need to use him for their lie and propaganda campaign, so of course they are not going to suspend him. How else are they going to keep up the "domestic terrorist" propaganda.

More and more I seem to a in a dream off communist propaganda lies in the USSR.

He was involved in a Taser incident 6 months ago and clearly was not put on leave or investigated, just thrown back into the field in a higher state of agitation, and this was the result.

In the most recently published video, an ICE person is heard telling the other ICE agents that Ms. Good "is an American citizen" Just before she is murdered.

Steve 218's avatar

Apparently that didn't matter in the least. It was a warrantless and illegal act of murder. Had any of us done such a thing, there would be prison. For this ICE operative, likely nothing.

I just donated (what for me is a large amount) to Common Cause at the link provided in this article in memory of Renee Good. Her murder will never be forgotten. I believe she died because she was a Constitutional Observer and ICE decided to eliminate her for it.

I'm so grateful that we have organizations such as Common Cause and The Contrarian that exist to support our democracy and TRUTH. Thank you Jennifer and Annastacia.

One of the most inspiring interviews I have had the opportunity to watch.

Thank you Jenn and guest Annastacia,

We have supported Common Cause regularly for many years including this year.

I was not very clear about a few things your guest said but it was very helpful to know that Portland is a two way street with a bike lane and Renee Good was not blocking the cars. I had heard she was waving them by. My impression also, with a video that just surfaced, that she was being friendly, smiling at to the ICE goons (sorry) before they killed her. They approached in a threatening way looking for some action apparently. Also your guest indicated that ICE people were there combing the neighborhood. They did not have a specific person or people they wanted- just harassing everyone asking for ID? WTF??? That is what Renee Good was observing and rightfully. They treated her similarly, like sh*t.

Why would a mother of 3 young children put herself in such a situation if she suspected that they were going to come after her? She stood there in her car as she had a right to and purposefully as well.

These ICE people I believe are of a certain mind... confrontational. They *cause* violence. This is a reign of TERROR in this country and they are promising more with a big budget.

We have and have had similar problems with police that have had to be seriously retrained because they do more harm than good, once they put a uniform on and throw their weight around to get rid of their resentments. With ICE how many have been in the military and seen violence or have been recruited BECAUSE of that mindset..They can be no more than automatons that hunt and either bring back their prey or kill. No heart.

Jonathan Ross, THE ICE agent who killed Renee Good, served in Iraq back in 2005, joined Border Patrol 2007. He's been an ICE deportation officer since 2015. He had a traumatic incident recently for which he needed medical care that sounds somewhat similar

"He was seriously injured last summer when he was dragged by the vehicle of a fleeing suspect whom he shot with a stun gun." (AP article below)

We need some brave whistleblowers from the hospital(s)

There is so much misogyny, so much hatred of women across this Administration and it shows clearly in the behavior of ICE agents.

KnockKnockGreenpeace's avatar

Their language with women alone is bad enough. Don't need the bullets either.

"It takes a village" that you are doing is wonderful, and especially presently in our villages!

I would like to make a serious and urgent request directly to HCR, The Bulwark, Home of the Brave, The Contrarian, Dr Patton, Rev Barber etc et al: There is a very serious and consequential DISCONNECT between what ICE/CBP/HSA officers and admin officials SAY they can do in the field, to citizens, vehicles, protesters, watchers etc. I've read a number of posts now on the legal scope and conduct codes they must follow. We the people NEED SOME HIGH PROFILE spokespersons to make a high profile PSA that puts these officers and their operations in their lawful place. True guidance that establishes all reasonable and legal expectations for accountability. Maybe some lawmakers can make a video, put out an ad in the papers, maybe some celebrities that have wide appeal, maybe a senior judge if that's even possible. We the people need to know clearly where that line is, and so does the gestapo.
