Another great interview! And very well said! Maybe Democrats should run on showing the American voters what Fascism looks like and pointing it out for what it is. Jamie Raskin is a great orator on this topic. Americans need to relearn history in its making. Not everyone is here on The Contrarian that needs to hear what’s happening in our political system. Republicans never mention democracy in their political ads they only vaguely mention something in passing about the Constitution. They don’t apply democracy when referencing the Constitution. It’s always about their self aggrandizement.
Is it possible to include a transcript of these interviews for those of us who prefer reading over watching videos/podcasts? That would be great for this old school guy, and maybe a couple others as well. No matter what others may say, we live! 😉
Thank you for continuing to consider and highlight the egregious problem of racial and partisan gerrymandering. Good for those legislators in Texas who stood up (and walked out) to fulfill their oaths to support our Constitution! Our Constitution supports them as strongly as they are supporting it. Regarding the illegality and criminality of partisan gerrymandering, please consider the following:
The Criminal Conspiracy between SCOTUS Justices and State Legislators to Defraud and Rob Americans of the Power of our Most Precious Rights (Part I and Part II)
Voters may theoretically win some of these gerrymandered districts, but does anybody believe that Texas won't use a combination of voter suppression and outright fraud to steal the elections? Who is going to stop them? Surely not this SCOTUS.
Democrats would be well advised to get out into Latino communities throughout the state and work to reverse the erosion of their support. That’s a key demographic, which in today’s political environment could hold the key to reversing Texas’s democratic failures.

I so agree with Ari that tit-for-tat gerrymandering will be disastrous for us all.
