Yes. All the more reason those of us enjoying white privilege need to show up Saturday. Again.

So very true. I will never understand why people consciously vote against their own best interests. This is the case for every woman, regardless of race, in America, as well as ALL minorities. Not even being billionaires exempts these people from this unfortunate truth.

The reason for that voting behavior was spelled out by either a political scientist or a social psychologist:

When people's values are at cross-purposes with their interests, more often than not they will vote their values, even to the detriment of their own interests. The people who came up with this point also claim that those GQP voters weren't fooled-- they new what they were voting for. But their values overruled their interests!

This is not what we voted for,” Garcia recently said in a statement that laughably “condemned” the mass deportations that have almost exclusively targeted people who look like her. “I have always supported Trump, through thick and thin. However, this is unacceptable and inhumane.”

Kinda reminds me of a famous quote by Winston Churchill:

An appeaser is one who feeds the crocodile, in hopes that it will eat him last!

Please explain the photo: What does the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) have to do with Ono? It looks as if the ADL is part of the denigration of people of color, which is NOT the case. Or on the side of Ono? What am I missing?

Did you read the caption? It is Mr. Ono being interviewed.
