That image of RFK might be the most disturbing, Azza, and thanks for pointing out the "science" juxtaposition. Well, when you have no substance, staged imagery is all you've got.
And let us recall that Donald Trump has zero interest of participation in Christianity. That's the worst of it: using it as a cudgel while never having to go to church.
Thank you for noting that they are not only posting from personal accounts (shady enough) but official ones as well. Clever of them to first fire /kick out the Inspectors General and anyone who worked in oversight, thus enabling them to now ride roughshod over the Constitution and long established protocols and norms. I worry that these norms once breached will not be part of the general agreed upon behaviors in governance going forward, and that the young people coming up will have no reference point of civility, statesmanship or way to judge behaviors going forward.
Alternatively, perhaps the utter failure of the old system of giving power to the wealthy will make way for something new and much better. I believe Truman said the only way to get rich in politics is to be a crook. As citizens we should recognize that anyone with a net worth above a couple million is not qualified to serve in Congress, the Presidency, or the cabinet because they lack the lived experience to represent their constituents and have an obvious conflict of interest. I have no problem with people being financially successful, I just don't think they belong in government making rules for the rest of us.
I think earned wealth vs inherited wealth is also a factor —you start as a school teacher or a regular worker or a peace corps person or a committed and selfless military person (like Elizabeth Warren or many others), and it is possible to keep that experience, those values and relationships as you serve in government. But life given to you on a silver platter does not prepare you to represent your constituency and look out for the little guy. Unlimited Money in elections/lobbying /politics is a huge factor that needs change—election financing /Citizens United etc. The outrageous lifetime perks that are given upon retirement from Congress after a relatively short time in office are insulting to the rest of us. So much needs revision and re-visioning.
It is precisely these fake "Christians" who have turned me off from the church. My United Methodist congregation is great, but I no longer attend services or refer to myself as a Christian.
When religion invades politics, a new agenda unfolds. We have a supreme court that should be thundering about the violation of the First Amendment charge of freedom for and from religion in our government. It's just one more of their current failings. The Bible has enough differences within its books; we don't need politicians "interpreting" it for their own ends.
RFK, Jr. has sold his soul completely. There was ZERO "Jesus" about him before he jumped on the Trump train. And it just shows you how the Zombies Trump selects for his Cabinet morph into what they believe Trump wants. Trump is very cognizant of the FACT that the sole voting bloc that remains steadfastly loyal to him are the Evangelicals. (Opus Dei is VERY much involved in the White Christian Nationalism, they have a money and power but don't represent a large voting bloc.) As a Humanist (that's an Atheist who believes in the goodness in human beings) I'm horribly offended by all this Jesus-Christianity stuff being constantly shoved at us. Didn't the SCOTUS recently rule, or was it at the Appellate level, that public schools can now post the 10 Commandments in the school? 🤦🏻♀️. I'll do everything I possibly can to help achieve a Blue Tsunami on Nov. 3!!
White Christian Nazionalism…..it says it all.

Thank you, Azza. This needs to be pointed out again and again.
Who knows. perhaps this regime will turn many more people into atheists.

He’s a Christian Nationalist for sure. So disgusting. 🤢

A disturbing article: The extent to which they manupilate words and now images for their selfish gains.
aren't those the beads...
They sort of look like Muslim Worry Beads don't they? They don't look like a rosary (I'm an Ultra-Reformed, Recovering Catholic - aka a Humanist)
