It is an entertainment channel, according to it's broadcast license, so can we all agree to simply call it FOX? And at my gym enough of us complained that it is all LIES so the channel does not show up anymore. Phew.
I’m looking forward to trying this. I’m curious about the two strips of parchment paper. I don’t understand why two strips. Do you lay one directly on top of the other or perpendicular or something else that I’m missing?
While grabbing breakfast at a southern motel, I took it into another room to eat, as FOX was blaring on the TV. The desk guy asked why I had moved, and he said they would change the channel. As it was a lobby area, I was respectful of others' rights, but it was nice that he would change the channel.
However, I have sworn not to tolerate FOX in areas where I have to be. I made that vow after going for a root canal, and the endodontist had FOX blaring in every room. Just having a television blaring on any channel was not going to do my nerves any good, so I asked to have it turned off. When I went back for Part II, it was not as loud, and I figured that I would suffer through it. Well, I got a heavy dose of propaganda as the endodontist and his assistant, true believers, did their propaganda spiel, which I could not answer as he was working in my mouth. While the endodontist did excellent work, if I ever need another root canal, I will not go back there. I felt victimized.
On another note, Melissa, could you occasionally feature a recipe without butter? I had to remove most butter from my diet due to high cholesterol. Ditto for cream cheese, heavy cream, etc. I have found ways of substituting oil for butter, Greek yogurt for cream cheese, and low-fat evaporated milk for half and half or heavy cream, but when butter is a key ingredient, I have to look a the recipe, sigh, and move on.
Nothing says summer like lemonade and strawberries 🍋🍓 The picture is so pretty it looks like something you would see on the cover of Southern Living magazine!

My gym is in a MAGA enclave, so it’s unlikely. But I still should say something, you’re right. And you’re right about the entertainment part too…
Do you think the recipe would also work for lime raspberry bars? That assumes I can find freeze dried raspberries.
Yes! Trader Joe’s always has freeze-dried raspberries. You can also get good quality lime oil from companies like Boyajian.
Thank you. I'll have to try making it.
Why not? Sounds divine.

Perpendicular! Sorry if it was unclear.
It probably just shows my limited experience baking with parchment paper - thanks for clarifying!
