We can see the script right now--he declares a National Emergency in September or October, 2026 and issues one of his Executive Orders declaring that the midterm elections nationwide hereby are paused until further notice! Only "hitch" would be no further notice until as the federal courts and the Supremes consider and rule over a two year period as to whether a National Emergency exists while his rule will be actually a nationwide dictatorship! From that time forward, the United States Armed Forces will be assigned to occupy all Blue States in order "to maintain order" until further notice! Plausible? Damn right!

A friend out here has been predicting cancellation of the '26 election for some time. I'm pinning my hopes on states like Indiana where there are enough real/traditional Republicans to insist on the rule of law and our Constitution.

Here’s a clue. A “former” republican strategist bought Dominion voting machines, which are used in 20 or more states, back in October. Not much reporting on the sale. Ask your congressperson to check it out.

And he renamed it from "Dominion Voting Systems" to "Liberty Vote."

A ballot challenge is already in progress on Tommy T. with only one other Republican challenger and an Independent. Doug Jones, Dr Will Boyd, Chad Martin and one other Democrat vying for the governor’s seat in Alabama. With one former Democratic senator on the ballot it’s interesting how this will shake out.

There are at least two organizations looking at individual districts' voting statistics to look for statistical unlikely events and then ask for information on the systems used to tabulate the votes and also ask for a recount. SMART Elections is one. I forget the name of the other(s) - anyone know? Unlike MAGA, they use evidence before challenging an election.

SMART Elections challenged the 2024 vote in Rockland County, NY because of the improbability that Trump won there while votes for state and local elections were far less favorable for Republicans. The opposition kept trying to get the case thrown out on technicalities. Ultimately the case was dismissed because the judge decided their organization lacked standing (which their attorney still disagrees with), but SMART Elections says they "learned a lot," got a lot of information during discovery, have built out their organization to monitor elections, and are not done.

Lately they've been diving into District 7 in Tennessee. They say it looks fishy:

"...as turnout increases, [Aftyn] Behn, the Democratic candidate sees her vote share go down sharply. As the turnout increases, [Matt] Van Epps, the Republican candidate sees his vote share increase sharply. This is most pronounced on Election Day voting. The pattern does not appear in mail-in voting.

"Because the slopes are so steep, show such a strong correlation to turnout, and progress in a mathematically sequential pattern, there is the possibility that this is a vote changing algorithm, programming how the votes are counted in the voting machines, the election management system, or the election night reporting software."
