I continue to want the names of all the pedophile Epstein clients released immediately. I also want them punished and I want them to pay into a fund to be disbursed to all the victims for disbursement so they can get treatment.

Even if these criminals are not punished, at least there would be the considerable embarrassment.

"I want them to pay into a fund to be disbursed to all the victims for disbursement so they can get treatment." Excellent suggestion. How about $100Million each for not disclosing his name.

Maxwell has been transferred to a minimum security prison in Texas after her interview with the MAGA person where she shared information. Horrible but not surprising in light of the low rent unethical MAGA losers.

Once a pedophile always a pedophile. These people cannot be rehabbed successfully. I’ve sat as a witness in a child sexual abuse case. The victim’s testimony along with other evidence and my own ended up in a conviction on one of two charges. Different charges. Since then, I’ve said I would do it again if it results in justice for the victim. The perp had a previous child sex abuse charge that did not result in a conviction. The victim was a 3 year old boy.

With or without Maxwell, Epstein was always a pervert. His story is typical of many if not all pedophiles. He was employed at the Dalton School without a college degree or a teaching certificate no less. Then he was let go in 1976. My guess is he has other victims besides these more recent ones. He was probably involved in pedophilia long before the 1990’s. Cam recorders were available in the early 80’s so I bet Epstein may have had victims as far back as 1990. Maxwell was a recruiter/groomer for Epstein. She was definitely an enabler. Epstein may have victims that are in their 50’s to this day.

So ugly. Rich white men preying on young girls. Perverts!

Amazing that the Biden administration never released the files when they probably had the chance.

Right wingers keep making this point too. It's an okay point, except it really doesn't say anything. "Releasing the files" was never a Biden promise, it was a Trump promise, and a Republican obsession. Why would Biden have "released the files" if he had never run on a promise to do so?

The fact is by the time Biden entered the White House Epstein had been arrested, prosecuted, convicted, imprisoned, and had committed suicide (or, perhaps, been assisted out of this world and into the next). The perverse case that wealthy, influential men of both parties had been trying to bury for years could not be prosecuted without a living target, and with Epstein's death it was allowed to drift away. It would have fallen into obscurity if Republicans hadn't turned it into a rallying cry.

Epstein's associate Ghislaine Maxwell--the groomer, pedophile and trafficker who appears to be making a covert deal with the Trump administration through the intercession of Trump's personal attorney, Todd Blanche--was arrested in July of 2020 while Trump was still in the White House. She was subsequently prosecuted and sentenced on Biden's watch.

Her deal with Trump may produce a revised interpretation of "the files" that the Trump administration will release: presumably it will only include the names of Democrats, for one assumes that Trump's name wasn't the only name FBI agents have flagged and scrubbed: one assumes other Republican politicians and donors have been whited out as well.

Epstein committed suicide after being murdered, yes?

Or, died of natural causes while being strangled to death.

[With thanks to Jimmy Breslin for his ‘The Gang That

Couldn’t Shoot Straight’.

Strangled and then hung out to dry.

Agreed, yet now the Left is obsessed with it only because Trump appears to have done a 180 on the subject.

"The fact is by the time Biden entered the White House Epstein had been arrested, prosecuted, convicted, imprisoned, and had committed suicide..."

Again, no argument. But when Trump appeared to be the inevitable Republican nominee and the Left was doing everything possible to damage him politically, why didn't anyone decide to look into the Epstein files and selectively "leak" something? That does not make any sense.

"Her deal with Trump may produce a revised interpretation of "the files" that the Trump administration will release..."

That may very well prove to be the case. I hope that, at some point, the whole truth comes out, regardless of who gets embarrassed and that they're held accountable or possibly face charges. I feel the same with regard to the new revelations coming out about the "Russia Hoax" and all those involved from Hillary Clinton to Obama, Comey, Clapper, Brennan or anyone else. I realize that no one will ever see the inside of a jail cell over it, but some Democrats and the left-wing media need to call this out for what it was - a deliberate attempt to interfere with a presidential election and using government assets to accomplish it. I'm not holding my breath for The Contrarian to cover this.

I think it’s amazing how the prostitution of these girls is dealt with under the rubric of “trafficking.” It wasn’t only Epstein in their beds as this discussion implies (defamation lawsuits folks!). We know Virginia Guiffre filed a successful suit against UK’s Prince Andrew—one of the few rich and powerful men to be publicly exposed, but never convicted of course. There were many other men involved here—and not in the role of Epstein’s advisors or lawyers (Dershowitz claimed he always kept his underpants on), but the girls apparently accepted “millions of dollars” from Epstein’s banks for their silence, and that’s why Trump, all the Republican groomer/rapists we’ve met on Twitter (funny how Ms. Brown alluded to that), plus Clinton, Gates, and God knows who else who will never be charged. A sick boys’ club then and now. Men pay for porn that shows women and children being raped, so I doubt all men would resist the temptation to try the real thing. Trump has been accused of rape and welcomes rapists in his circle: Epstein, Hegseth, Diddy, and the Tate brothers come to mind. And wasn’t Trump’s immigrant grandad a brothel keeper?

Jen, the variety of your interviews is impressive, and you always pull out the information we need to consider. I was also thinking that it is a bizarre comment on the chaos of these times that so many of the topics are corruption and illegality across the board.

Pam Bondi was the attorney general of Florida at the time of the Epstein situation. What role do you think she played? I would have liked if you'd asked about her role. Living in FL then, we knew she was corrupt; I'm guessing she didn't do much to prosecute the case as she should have.

This was a super informative interview that sliced through the hype that’s been bubbling up around this criminal case. At the same time, it’s clear that much has been covered up and needs to see the light of day to achieve any kind of justice for the victims. Julie has a real talent for clear and insightful communication about a delicate and painful subject, so thanks Jen for bringing her on!

For reasonable, empathetic human beings, there is outrage and the insistence of full disclosure for accountability. The trauma is real and needs to felt viscerally by all aware of it. To continue to not recognize the compounding of the trauma that occurs by that lack of accountability, over and over, again, need only be exemplified by those driven to suicide by that apathy.

Thank you, Jen and Julie, for this interesting and informative discussion. I learned so much more about the Epstein-Maxwell case than I knew previously. I am grateful that the Palm Beach police did all they could to pursue the case despite opposition from all fronts. Bless you, dear Julie, for your hard work over the years on behalf of the victims and their families, which continues to this day. You are my Shero! 💗

Why exactly is this issue all over the place now? Because we hate this administration? We have so much to deal with that impacts all Americans as well as the international community. I think it would be good to concentrate our work and strength and efforts on these impacts.

Are sure there were not any young boys there for either???

This will never go for the victims. Too much 💰 involved. Misogyny.
