That's for sure--all of it. Every person who voted for the Loser knows exactly what his guiding principle is, thanks to his "birther" crap. Polite society likes to give the benefit of the doubt to those around us, but the notion that most people are "nice" has been shattered. It was a rude awakening.

I let a 13-year friendship go when Trump was first elected and have since believed and acted accordingly: anyone who supports a racist is a racist, and when I know that, they are no friend of mine. Extrapolate that to representation.

Not to forget the worst black racist of all: Clarence Thomas.

Right on. What's amazing about that construct is that it removes any chance of loving himself.

I've got to note that the question about whether someone got the job “because of his skin color? Or was it his skill? We’ll never know, but always doubt” would be better applied to Pete Hegseth -- someone who absolutely got the job because of his (white) skin color. Because there's no way that someone with Hegseth's pathetically weak qualifications would have ever been considered to lead the DoD if he had been anything other than white.

Correct! Pete has the only two qualifications that matter to Mango Mussolini: he's a white man and he looks "straight out of central casting"

And that's where they should've left him.

Thank you! We do have to look beyond the obvious condemnation of one racist rant to the system of racism in America.

Thank you for shedding light on a complex topic. It seems that among racists, there truly is no shame.

Yes, anti-Black behavior can come from Black people; Scott is like Stephen from “Django Unchained,” foolishly believing that if he just acts right, the white man will love him.

As I've posted many times, Don the Con has been a racist all his adult life, if not longer-- going back to when the US Government sued him and his father, an won, because he refused to rent to African-Americans. Then of course there was the Central Park Five incident when he demanded they get the death penalty. And when they were proven conclusively to be innocent, he still supported death because "they must have done something else that deserves it"

But the criticism above goes beyond Black peole-- look at Don the Con's right hand man in hatred Stephen Miller. He's a practicing Jew who's pushing the cause of white Christian nationalists. And if Miller thinks that once they're done harming Black and BRown people they won't come after him because he's Jewish then he's not only disgusting, he's also a g*dd*mned fool!

Miller, Tim Scott, and as a commenter above noted, Clarence Thomas, must be a fascinating study for psychologists...

Thank you. This is such a needed, strong post.

"Those are examples of racism"?

That's like saying Ivan and Melissa are "examples" of hurricanes...

For the gustily challenged, as for the bigotry challenged.

Unfortunately, the president put that meme out. Even more unfortunately, some people thought it was humorous instead of hatred. I still don't understand why Anyone supports the hateful Trump and regime.
