Thank you Mimi Rocah for publishing this story. Most Americans understand the DOJ interview and the transferring of Maxwell to a minimum security institution are all part of Trump's cover-up. The only question is whether the truth comes out before Trump/Republicans irreversibly destory American democracy.
Why has Ms. Rocah's powerful message not gotten broader exposure to the American public???? Of course, the "interview" received a lot of coverage, but the Truth did not. I find this deeply disheartening, because it exemplifies exactly what is happening in the press these days. A few educated and informed citizens will read this, but the vast majority of Americans will focus on this diluted explanation. Or hear nothing at all. Democracy is in big trouble.
Thank you Ms Rocah for reporting key parts of the interview that the press, which supposedly follows journalistic standards, failed to report. Maxwell’s exoneration of Trump would have been seen in a much different light had the press reported that she was not only allowed to exonerate herself from conviction but was even helped to do so by Trump’s Deputy AG. Then she received the quid of transfer to minimum security club fed and may be pardoned by Trump.
I am almost finished re-reading Julie K. Brown's book "Perversion of Justice - The Jeffrey Epstein Story." I am even more shocked now than I was when it was first published in 2021, in light of everything else that has been published since then.
Julie was definitely cheated out of a Pulitzer Prize, especially when you consider the impact her digging and reporting had. Without her, Maxwell would have gotten away with her heinous crimes scot-free.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Epstein has victims from the 1980’s. After all he was a teacher at the Dalton school and was let go in 1976. Many of these pedophiles have had access to children and schools haven’t been immune from them. They gain trust and manipulate their victims. That is the game they play. He may have victims to this day as old as 55 or 60 years old. We really don’t know.
There is an answer to Ms. Rocah's statement that, "I don't know the answer to why and what exactly motivated Blanche and Attorney General Pam Bondi to conduct and publish this sham “interview." The answer is that Blanche and Bondi work for and worship the same corrupt president who would like to extinguish any inquiry into the Epstein files so he can without distraction can get on with destroying government as we know it.
The DOJ stopped being about actual justice once the felon got re-elected. The further deterioration of that body happened when the gutless Senate confirmed former lobbyist Bondi. Wow, i had no idea what this was about, except that it was obviously a shady maneuver to get exoneration for the Donald--from a perjurer. Thank you for laying out the rules for the game called "proffer," and showing how wildly this farce was not that. Instead, it gave Maxwell an opportunity to publicly promote her "innocence," even as she (of course!) vouches for his. Her transfer to minimum security is against prison rules, and she is even to be allowed release time to go out and work. Considering what her "work" is, that gives me the creeps!

I fear we won't ever know the true total of epstein survivors in our lifetime, because of this regime. And I want epstein and others to come forward and get the help they need. These brave survivors are telling the story of a much larger problem and they need to be enabled to tell their story and thus that of sooo many other survivors.
