Let's also note that at the "convention," Trump encouraged unregistered voters to cheat and vote for Republicans and made an illegal bribe offer of $5000 to do so. All impeachable offenses.
One evening in 2016 I called my mom. When I asked what she was doing she said, “I’m watching the circus.” I said, “The circus?” The Republican debates. I would never have thought 10 years later we’d still have The Circus. My mom is no longer here to endure it. Just so no one thinks she was shopping for a candidate, she was a Hillary Clinton supporter.
Cabinet secretaries cannot campaign in their official capacity, cannot use government resources, and must follow the Hatch Act’s restrictions. RFK violated all of those.
Notwithstanding all the different court rulings against USPS meddling with mail-in-vote envelopes, who or how can it be assured that the USPS really DOES postmark the envelopes on the day they are mailed, as well as delivering every last one of those envelopes properly?
Please remember that USPS is still being run by members of the orange cult. I have no hope for the red states, but what are blue state governors doing to assure all mail-in-votes are counted, especially in the vote-by-mail only states, such as Colorado, etc?
The mass volume of mail is probably not able to be individually tampered with, I'm guessing. In any case, Indivisible's Ezra Levin counsels all voters who usually vote by mail to vote early and to drop off their ballots in person. I'm going to stake out the dropbox on Oct. 17, the planned day of action, and hand out candy bars to everyone who doesn't look like a maga :)
Yes, I've been preaching that voters should vote early and in person everywhere they are allowed to. Unfortunately, Alabama, Mississippi and New Hampshire do not allow early voting, which leaves especially Alabama and Mississippi wide open to shenanigans like keeping some polling stations closed and more. I've already read about this, especially in black neighborhoods!
California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Vermont, and Washington have voting-by-mail only. A lot of mischief can be achieved by even just one USPS employee who simply refuses to deliver the envelopes to voters and then to the various county election offices.
I think what you're planning on October 17 is very admirable.
In vote-by-mail states such as my own, officials are telling voters to use locked drop boxes which are monitored and picked up daily, and to vote early.
The local post offices send maìl to regional centers where they are postmarked in batches so there is the the real possibility of "delay" in postmarking till after the legal deadline. My US senator estimates this can effect up to 1/3 of votes.
In my county the Democratic Central Committee has peppered the area with drop boxes. Ballots are picked up nightly by two retired gentleman, one a Dem, one a Republican. Cameras are in every corner of the election office and all activity is broadcast live 24/7 from the time of ballot arrival to uploading of tallied data to the Sec. Of State at 8:01 election night and past for arriving ballots that qualify. .
That sounds fantastic! I hope the other vote-by-mail states are doing exactly the same. That will hopefully prevent the OCF and all his cult members from doing anything nefarious in this upcoming election.

I think that convention was really a circus 🤡 🎪
Every day in trumpworld is a circus, with evil clowns, flying monkeys and satan himself.

Love the new Daily Jolt, Jen!

Let's all just help each other kick these bastards out with our ballots! Have a decent weekend, AB.
Thank you, same to you, KKG.

SOLUTION:
1. Vote early.
2. Use a dropbox, not the USPS.
That's a great suggestion. I just hope all the vote-by-mail states have enough drop boxes in even the smallest towns.

There is no…I repeat… NO FRAUD.

Enjoying very much! thank you!!
