My sister who is a health scientist told me that measles can lead to immune amnesia, which makes one susceptible to infections that the person previously had immunity to. So they can get illnesses after the measles clears because their immune system isn’t working the way it would have before they got measles. Immune amnesia can last for several years. Here’s more:

Those immunizations don't protect against infection (acquiring the organism) but against disease similar to the way the COVID vaccines protect against severe illness. It is abundantly clear that measles is a serious disease, which can kill and leaves 3 out of 10 non-vaccinated persons with serious complications; (bronchitis, laryngitis, pneumonia, encephalitis. It is also recognized that there are laws in the US which protect children, from neglect and abuse. If a child dies from the disease because vaccination was neglected or refused, the parents should be held responsible. In such cases, perhaps the litigation of parents or care giver for manslaughter (death resulting without malice aforethought) would put an end to this practice of negligence.
I have a wife who is a nurse and a daughter who is veterinarian, so I probably see and hear more about some medical issues than many others do. Some of the comment is the result of things they have been saying for months. Thanks to the failure of a single doctor, RFK, jr was confirmed as the Secretary of HHS. Senator and Dr. Bill Cassidy didn't have the guts to stand up for the American people, for the oath he swore as a doctor to first do no harm, or against Donald Trump for appointing a failure was Secretary of HHS. Trump, Cassidy, and Kennedy are now responsible for more than a thousand measles cases in the US and you have to wonder how many children will die as a result of their stupidity, ignorance, and negligence? Most people know Trump is incapable of appointing competent people to be the head of any agency.
