I am grateful for all the work that Norm and his colleagues do to uphold the rule of law. It is clear that the legal efforts by themselves will be insufficient. The Republican party is growing increasingly lawless and the courts don't have the enforcement mechanisms required to force a lawless regime to comply. At this point I don't even believe the DOJ would turn over the files even if the SCOTUS ordered them to. Perhaps the files will be made public through some other means, but ultimately it's up to us to keep the pressure on ALL Republicans and hold ALL of them responsible for every Trump/Republican atrocity. Until the Republican party steps forward and takes the lead on getting the DOJ to comply, as far as I'm concerned they are ALL co-conspirators.

An immigration court is an executive branch function that answers to the President, not the judiciary. This is a power grab from the Judiciary. This needs to be challenged in court immediately. The President cannot be allowed to assume ownership of the Fourth Amendment from the Judiciary!
