You said Trump has "thoroughly squandered his inheritance of a strong economy." Trump has squandered every inheritance he ever received and then some. That is all he knows how to do...squander. He has squandered his entire life. That Republicans shut their eyes to this fact is why we are where we are...a great democracy being squandered at the hands of one of the worst squanderers in the history of our nation.

“There’s still time to reverse the damage, but no one can feel confident that this administration will do so.”

And…..the American people voted to bring this upon themselves?!? Does not make sense——What must the rest of the World think about Americans? Can’t be good!

Our PINO continues to prove that he is and always has been a horrible businessman. The people who said he would turn our economy around were correct. He has turned it around right into the toilet! In the immortal words of Homer Simpson," D'oh!"

Trump wants to tank the economy, it shakes up his political chaos, better if people suffer, I mean that's the authoritarian playbook in despots.

Agreed that the Stock Market is not the economy, agreed that it's only 100 days, but the question remains relevant. If 3 of the top 3, 5 of the top 6, and 7 of the top 11 highest stock market gains in the first 100 days were under Democratic administrations, why does the belief persist that republicans are better with the economy than democrats?

Gosh, this surely needs more readership so people might better understand what Trump has set us up for--or maybe they don't want to know?

I’m one of the 60% and hanging tight. I made some choices that not long ago were considered ultra-safe. Observation: It would be more than 60% if one added retirees to the near-retirees. Common wisdom these days is to stay invested in the stock market in retirement, at least somewhat.

I can be a little dense sometimes. I thought from the titled that this article was about Trump’s grift. It’s a perspective piece on the markets. Informative. Thank you.
