It's hard to think of Bondi as impartial in anything she does. She strikes me as barely qualified as a lawyer and totally unqualified as Attorney General. It seems that Bondi's lips are so firmly attached to Trump's rear end that she can't possible make an unbiased decision.
First observation: both judges are women (at least you identify them as women). One of them is a person of color. How long before women and people of color are removed from the judiciary by this maladministration? Second observation: since the Puppet Masters who are actually driving the clown car, with the Deranged Orange Toddler sitting in the "driver's" seat and clapping his tiny little hands together with glee, have only to whisper into the 6 SCOTUS faux justices' ears any ruling by a lower court merely delays the overturning of such rulings. Threats to take away the billionaire yacht excursions? Who knows? All I know is that unless more of the deplorables actually start thinking about their legacies--other than the lining of their pockets, which I suspect they are doing with enthusiasm--we are stuck in this endless loop of awful. Respect for the office be dammed; these people have destroyed any respect their office had before they assumed the bench. They deserve our contempt, nothing less will do.

This illegal and obscene ruling that allows CA Guardsmen to be deployed to almost entirely peaceful Portland ought to result in the disbarment of both of the judges who made it. And then the dissenting judge ought to be put up for consideration for the next Nobel Peace Prize.
The concept of a fact based non-political SCOTUS has been shredded. It is now a political player with an agenda - to establish the unitary executive. In doing so, it is effectively rewriting the constitution via unassailable unwritten reasoning. It is very difficult to challenge reasoning that isn't available for review.

Doug, for a long time I've believed that less testosterone and more estrogen is what the planet needs. I totally agree that women are our only hope although there are some notorious exceptions whose last names are Bondi, Leavitt, Noem, McMahon and Gabbert.
