Sounds like extreme voter apathy there. I do like Proposition 3: "toughens bail rules for violent and sexual offenses, requiring judges to deny bail if there’s clear evidence someone’s a danger or might flee." Seen way too many repeat offenders out on the streets.

Texas might ought to reexamine their own ethics. Giving billionaires a huge tax break while making everything else unaffordable for poor and some middle class people.

Of course Texans (of which I am one) have a terrible record of informed voting. We elected, solely on his name, Jesse James 18 times as state treasurer. One of James sterling accomplishments was putting state fundings into a non-interest paying checking account instead of an interest paying account. Said to have cost the state millions, back when a million dollars meant something.

Texas has no state income tax. Will this be funded by sales tax? Also, isn't there a federal tax loophole for some of those who work in financial services?

Texas has extremely high property taxes and a high sales tax (taxing even groceries).
