Texas Tech is going to destroy the integrity of the game with their short sided desire to win for one season. Nobody will be able to trust that this tainted QB won't throw a game while he's throwing passes. Because that's what it's all about.

The NCAA are coming out as the integrity heroes in this scandal. They've made an expedited appeal to the next higher Texas court. Bad news though, the four judge panel set to hear the appeal all graduated from ..... wait for it ......Texas Tech.

What actually needs to happen in this case is for all involved to read a history book about the Black Socks Scandal. That rocked the sports world so badly that they clamped down hard on sports betting for nearly a hundred years.

Sure looks like history is about to repeat itself.

Disgusting. If you read the ESPN background article, the guy had the same problem at TWO other colleges. Nothing has worked so far. I blame the "legalized gambling" AND Sorsby. Colleges and NCAA can't reward such behavior. The "judge" will hopefully be overruled.

In times of the orange convicted felon, obviously anything is possible. His second election has made it so.

Handing him the well known, logical, and necessary consequences for his actions is NOT harming him. He harmed himself with his own actions. If he wants to rehabilitate himself, great. It doesn't mean rules need to be ignored or the legitimacy of the sport needs to be sacrificed because he is "sorry."
