I am angry, too!! But can we also make perfectly clear who is taking food and healthcare from Americans. The cruelty of the Trump regime and all Republican legislators is the real issue.

What does it say about an adminstration that is activley trying to deprive people of basic needs--safety and access to food? Cruel. Cruelty that has no place in our government.

A regime that lies--dishonesty has no place in our government.

Leaders who are greedy and self-serving--they should have no place in our government.

What happened to respect and compassion? They do not exist in the current regime.

Keep pushing back against current false leaders: their unacceptable values and cruel behaviors!

It’s an excellent time to be a chiropractor for both parties.

I don't think chiropractors can do anything with wet noodles.

I'm very happy to have Chellie Pingree as my rep, and I support her fully and enthusiastically. Her constituent service is excellent.

Thanks for the focus on the ACA. I hope that once the teeth-knashing settles down, people will see that the fight is not quite yet over. As pointed out, many self-employed people depend on affordable ACA premiums. Can the Republicans disregard that without expecting blowback at the polls?

I will let Durbin know that the only reason I will continue to qualify for subsidies is that I can use some savings instead of income for living expenses (keeps my modified adjusted income low enough to qualify). How many people are in a position to do this? I’m older and inherited money from parents, which we earmarked for health insurance coverage.

My situation means that healthcare is affordable for people who already have some money. Something is wrong with this. This is what the “moderates” have given the nod too. The fight isn’t over yet.

Maybe Rep. Pingree can try to talk sense into her Maine House colleague Jared Golden, so he doesn't vote with the Republicans again, as he did on the CR.

Agree it was a shame for the eight to vote as they did, although I certainly agree the shutdown was hurting people too much--Oops, did I mean Trump and the Repub House?
