"While several Trump regretters in our focus groups in early October said they will swing left, the majority were undecided and a few planned to stick with Republicans."

The second group needs to have their heads examined and the third group should not be allowed to vote at all. Sorry.

I see those numbers and I have to shake my head in disbelief. WHERE TO THEY FIND THESE PEOPLE??! How can 1 in 5 Americans still think Trump is doing a good job on the economy? Where have these people been living?

The "low information voter" is a very real thing. That's all I can say.

just linking this here, regarding the focus on corruption..the longtime amazing investigative reporter Matthew Cole has been doing interviews about his new book about Jared Kushner, packed with intense allegations..Kushner is already going crazy over it.

It's just a matter of time. They say "Like Father, Like Son" and while I don't see Jared using prostitution and extortion to force his in-laws to do things like Daddy Kushner* did, I do see Jared going to prison for all sorts of corruption, mostly involving undeclared foreign money taken while he was supposedly working for America,.

* Daddy Kushner got a pardon from King Donald and is currently serving as the US Ambassador to France. Thanks MAGA.

It appears that authoritarianism isn’t ringing our bell. The focus on immigrants is to demonize other people to unite us against them, the focus on foreign conflicts is to make us fear for our safety to unite us in support of our government, the focus on elections is to unite us against fraud that doesn’t exist so the Republicans can stay in power. We’re not buying it. It’s not what we want, what we think is most important to live good and happy lives in this country. Good for us!

“Americans view Trump and Republicans in Congress as most focused on immigration, foreign conflicts, and election integrity. None of those issues are a top priority for most Americans.”
