Blanche symbolizes the very worst qualities of lawyers and thoroughly disgraces the profession. The thought that Donald Trump is trying to foist his personal criminal defense lawyer on the American people as the country's chief law enforcement attorney is revolting. The Senate needs to protect us from him.

Blanche denied that his meeting with Maxwell led to others being charged. He declined to say whether it led to an investigation, telling Booker, “I can’t answer your question.”
“Someone that is accused of child sex trafficking, under the Bureau of Prisons’ own policies, is not put in a facility like this,” Booker said. “That seems clearly like a reward.”
Regarding today's hearing, using Blanche's logic about ignoring judicial rulings, what makes him think anyone should respect and comply with the pronouncements of this regime? Just because he believes he is the law doesn't make it so. Law is a collective contract, not a singular dictate. Ultimately, he's arguing for a lawless nation.
For example, SCOTUS rubber stamped immunity for presidential acts and diminished Congressional authority, now Barrett begs Congress for $ to protect them from the consequences of their decisions. Since Blanche favors mafia-style lawlessness, shouldn't Barrett be begging her boss for protection? Perhaps you can see how this devolves?
Blanche thinks breaking the law is a one way proposition where only his team wins. It's short-sighted and dangerous. His fallacy needs to be called out and revealed for its risk and depravity.

He has protected pedophiles and permitted Epstein victims to be publicly outed. He cannot be approved to become the next AG. He should, rather, be disbarred.
