Don't read many of the articles in the paper now a days. I find much of it just stupid comments that are being made by people who have no business in our government.
2026 seems to be the Chinese new year if stupidity.
The fed just needs to release a digital dollar backed by blockchain technology for the public to use.
A currency not backed by rule of law and a powerful government is Bitcoin which currently is banned in china and others as its primary use is for criminal purposes and to avoid taxation which undermines countries.
So if you want to undermine governments, approve of crypto so crime rules supreme. If you like the rule of law and minimal crime, ban crypto!
That so many in congress are even promoting crypto shows how corrupt and stupid our country has become. It takes taxes and competent honest leaders who believe in the rule of law applied evenly to all for a successful country, not tax cheats and selfish liars.
Nothing Trump ever has done has given us any reason to think that he isn’t using crypto as a means to accept outright bribes, possibly for committing outright treason. For very good reason, in our Constitution the people expressly addressed those two crimes (bribery and treason).
Bribing the President is a federal crime, and the People in our Constitution established in Article II that “[t]he President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of” any “high Crimes [or] Misdemeanors,” including specifically “Treason” or “Bribery.”
Congress should be working to diligently ensure Trump isn’t using crypto to facilitate bribery and treason. This so-called legislation is a mere trick by pro-corruption anti-constitution legislators to deceitfully make us think they’re doing something about Trump’s corruption when they really are doing virtually (or actually) nothing.
Glad to hear the Senators and Representative from our brave little state (Vermont) received a perfect score.
Same with our Oregon Senators!
