My family had a tripod Boxer who loved to wrestle, then we got a black Labrador Puppy, when he grew up our Boxer had puppies. Unfortunately Muggs and the puppies passed due to sepsis . (1963) . I always wondered what they would have looked like when grown. Probably just like Duke. Also our lab loved to swim. Muggs the Boxer would wrestle with my Dad.
I'm so sorry about the sepsis. I had a litter of Boxador puppies too, and they were the cutest puppies I had ever seen. I think they would have looked like Duke when they got older.
We had a Duke years ago, who was also a rescue and a sweetie. I hope Duke finds a great home! You’re taking good care of him. He has a beautiful coat and looks happy and healthy!
He is a Boxador! My boxer had a litter of these adorable muffins - the result of a wild night with our other dog, a black lab mix (I presume). The babies got snatched up too quickly, and I miss them to this day. I love to hear that Duke is a swimmer and doesn't mind bouncing off the bed. That sounds lovely.

Duke won’t last long at shelter. Lab or Boxer mixes get gone fairly quickly. I bet you’re🥰🥰🥰 good with kids!!!
Boxer Lab mixes are super sweet. Goldie was a gem, but we lost her to bone cancer 😞 Now there's Betsy, a Lab Jack Russell mix 😀 Talk about energy! 🐶
