What too many men do not realize is that women are seeing Swalwell as another betrayal by men who claim to care about us and our needs/concerns. Whether it's husbands, family, healthcare providers, co-workers/management, clergy, or government, the Eric Swalwells are why Choose the Bear remains a thing.
Harry Truman has a relevant quote about politics, especially men engaged therein:
There are 3 thrings that can ruin a man: power, money, and women.
He went on to say:
I never wanted power, I never had any money, and the only woman in my life is up at the house right now!
I kinda miss him.
Here’s what I would say to Harry: Women do not ruin a man. A man’s inability to control his animal nature ruins himself.
Heck, at this point I miss most prior presidents! But Truman is a favorite because he desegregated the military. And he was funny.
